Having UPdated the glyph, you have now but to Select MAP, which will open a dialog box where you enter the ASCII Code for the key where you want this glyph to be located.

In this graphic, you see, the graphic was assigned the ASCII number 33 which corresponds to the exclamation point. It was the one described in the lesson I read from the program site, but any ASCII number for the alphabet would do as well. there is a different set of numbers for the codes above ASCII 126, be careful and read about the ANSI numbers

Read this before clicking "THIS". To continue to enter glyphs, you would go back to THIS point and enter your information for the next glyph. REMEMBER, answer YES when you encounter this dialog box, When you enter the next glyph to be scanned, it will prompt you asking if it should save the information and you better say yes or lose all that you did up to now.

There is more to this program, I find that I can add or remove points, That I can thicken a line or make a line thinner. That I can link glyphs or add them at a later date. There seems to be so much that this little program can do. I even made a font of my hand but it came out not so good, still, I did it. I can add a signature to a font if I so needed it, I just have to find a key that I don't use and I can replace it with my scanned signature. Like I said, there is a lot to this program and well worth the Twenty five dollars asked for.If you are serious about making a font, I guess I would read up on bitmap fonts and typography itself. This can provide many hours of enjoyment and your own personalized glyphs, If that is your wish.
