To make a new page, first you must LOG IN, then just enter a file name (rather than a url: e.g. "mynewpage.htm" rather than "http://www.mywebsite.com/techref/member/mynewpage.htm") in the "...link to an existing or new page:" text box. When you press Add, the new page will be created in the current folder and a link to it added to the current page according to the selections to the right of the Add button.
It is recommended that you make new pages from your home page and then add links to them from the pages that are appropriate. This will help to prevent duplicate file names.
Although you can create a page with any extension, you might want to use .htm (e.g. gpsim.htm) if you are going to create a normal html page with the navagation tools and form at the bottom. You can create an html page that will not have the nav and form and ads, etc... by useing an .html extension. If you do that, keep in mind that you will have to edit it by adding ?edit to the page address in your browsers Address field since there will not be an Edit button on the new page!
Using the "anon" and "link" selections and typeing in a title for the page in the text box, will result in a more normal link to the new page.
