Eforms setup for Pegasus PMS

Using efplus print spool modification service.

Change any existing drivers to PCL5e versions

Install the software on the server.

Add a copy of each printer driver, using the same PCL5e driver (you should be asked if you want to keep the existing files)
but with a NEW port of type EFPLUS_FPM configured to point to the original printer.

The *EFPLUS printers should be the default printers when using efplus.com registration key-packet stock.

Start Menu-> Printers and Faxes ->

Double click on -> HP LJ 2420 XXX POS EFPLUS (note: There is an HP LJ 2420 XXX POS without the EFPLUS. Be carefull to pick the EFPLUS printer)

A small box will appear: Select the PRINTER drop down menu.

On the drop down menu, select SET AS DEFAULT PRINTER.

You should see a black dot with a check mark in it appear in the upper left corner of the printer icon. This means that this is the default printer.

Close all the open windows.

Ensure "Enable Advanced Printing Features" is unchecked under printer properties on the Advanced tab.

Tray sizes must be set on printer front panel to match the stock loaded in each printer.

Notes:

Use printer IP address to control printer via internet browser.

Use Terminal Services Manager (double click on  entires under "All listed Servers") to see all workstations, right click and "Remote Control" to attached.

Every time I add a new printer, the add printer wizard panel refuses to close, although the printer is added and I can access it and its properties.
